ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, known as Shaeer's Vein Ligation-II, is investigating a new surgical technique to help men who experience erectile dysfunction (ED) due to a specific blood flow issue called deep system veno-occlusive erectile dysfunction. The study aims to find out if this surgery can improve the firmness of erections, how satisfied patients are after the procedure, and if there are any complications.

To participate, men must have tried other treatments for ED without success, such as pills, hormone therapy, or injections, and still struggle with getting an erection. However, those with uncontrolled diabetes, certain other health conditions, or who smoke will not be eligible. Participants will either have the new surgical technique or a standard surgery and will need to share their results for at least six months. This trial is still in the planning stage and has not started recruiting participants yet.
