ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of different medications, called immunosuppressants, on patients who have received organ transplants, such as kidneys, livers, or lungs. Immunosuppressants are used to help prevent the body from rejecting the new organ. The main goal of the study is to understand how these medications might impact the risk of infections and the overall survival of transplant patients. Researchers will compare patients who received organ transplants to those who did not, to see if some medications are safer or more effective than others.
To participate in this study, patients need to have undergone a solid organ transplant. However, those who have had multiple transplants or had infections before their transplant will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to be part of an important investigation that aims to improve the safety and outcomes for future transplant patients. The study is currently recruiting participants of all ages, and researchers are eager to learn more about how different immunosuppressive agents can affect health after transplantation.
