ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how common eye diseases are in children and teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the Tianjin area. The researchers want to understand the causes of these eye issues and see how treating them can improve the quality of life for both the children and their caregivers. By focusing on the relationship between eye health and overall well-being, the study aims to raise awareness about the importance of eye care in this population.
To be eligible for this study, children and adolescents must have a diagnosis of ASD and should not have received any medical treatment for it yet. However, those with serious brain or physical health issues are not able to participate. If chosen for the trial, participants can expect to undergo eye examinations and receive appropriate treatments, all while helping researchers gather valuable information that may benefit others in the future. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders between the ages of 2 and 18.
