ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how cervical cancer treatment affects sexual function, emotional coping, and overall quality of life for patients. The researchers want to compare two groups of women: those who undergo surgery and those who receive a combination of radiation and chemotherapy. They aim to understand how these treatments impact sexual health and emotional well-being over a period of six months. This information will help develop better support programs and communication strategies for healthcare providers to discuss intimacy and emotional health with patients.
To participate in this study, women must be at least 18 years old and undergoing either surgery or radiation combined with chemotherapy. They should be able to understand and agree to participate by signing a consent form. However, women over 65 years old or those with certain psychological or language issues cannot join. Participants will be asked to share their experiences regarding their sexual health and emotional state, which will help improve care for future patients facing similar challenges.
