ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how obesity affects the size of the left chambers of the heart. Researchers want to see if there is a connection between the size of these heart chambers, body mass index (BMI), and waist circumference in people who are obese. The study aims to gather information that could help us learn more about how obesity impacts heart health.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old with a BMI of 30 or higher, which indicates obesity. Additionally, men must have a waist size of 102 cm or more, while women must have a waist size of 88 cm or more. The trial is open to all genders and includes individuals with other health conditions related to obesity, such as diabetes or high blood pressure. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, those who join can expect to contribute valuable information that may help improve understanding of the relationship between obesity and heart health.
