ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) can help improve the health and quality of life for people who have experienced lung problems after recovering from tuberculosis (TB). Post-tuberculosis lung disease (PD-PTB) can lead to ongoing lung issues that affect daily life, and this study aims to see how rehabilitation can help patients feel better and function more effectively. Additionally, researchers will create a system to assess the severity of PD-PTB using advanced technology.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be clinically stable and able to complete at least 80% of the training sessions. They should have post-tuberculosis lung disease but should not have other unrelated health problems that could interfere with the study. Participants can expect to engage in rehabilitation exercises designed to improve their lung function and overall well-being. It’s important to know that certain health conditions, such as uncontrolled blood pressure or recent orthopedic surgeries, may prevent someone from joining the study.
