ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of ozone and lidocaine injections on patients with Piriformis Syndrome (PS), a condition where the piriformis muscle compresses the sciatic nerve, causing pain in the hip and legs. The researchers want to see if these injections can help reduce pain, improve function, and enhance posture in people suffering from this condition.
To participate, individuals must be over 18 years old, have pain in the back of their thigh, and have been diagnosed with PS through specific tests. Those who have certain medical conditions, have had recent steroid injections, or have undergone hip surgery may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive either ozone or lidocaine injections and be monitored for improvements in your pain and mobility. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it is important for those interested to understand the potential benefits and limitations of the treatment being studied.
