ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking into the roles of two important proteins, SOX17 and E-Cadherin, in understanding different types of endometrial lesions, which are abnormal growths in the lining of the uterus. Endometrial cancer is a significant health concern for women, and this study aims to see how these proteins can help doctors better understand and diagnose endometrial cancer and related conditions. Researchers want to find out if SOX17 can accurately indicate whether endometrial lesions are cancerous or non-cancerous and how it relates to the presence of E-Cadherin, a protein that helps keep cells together and may prevent cancer from spreading.

To take part in this trial, participants must be female and have specific tissue samples from surgeries related to endometrial cancer or suspected lesions. The trial is not yet recruiting, but it will involve analyzing these tissue samples to gather important information about the proteins being studied. If you or someone you know is eligible, this research could contribute to better understanding and treatment options for endometrial conditions in the future.
