ClinConnect Summary

The ReDirection trial is a study aimed at helping individuals who have concerns about their sexual interests in children. The main goal is to see if the ReDirection program can effectively and safely reduce these individuals' use of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and related behaviors. This program is specifically designed for those who are considered to have a low to medium risk of committing child sexual abuse.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between the ages of 18 and 74 and must speak one of the following languages: English, Swedish, Finnish, Czech, Slovak, German, or Spanish. They should have a genuine concern about their sexual interests regarding children and have used CSAM in the past six months. However, individuals with severe psychiatric issues or those who are not fully committed to participating in the study will not be accepted. Participants can expect a supportive environment where they will receive guidance through the ReDirection program, helping them manage their feelings and behaviors in a safe and constructive way.
