ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the results of a medical procedure called cardiac catheterization in children and infants with heart problems. Cardiac catheterization is a way doctors can diagnose and treat heart issues by inserting a thin tube into a blood vessel and guiding it to the heart. The study will gather information about the health and treatment outcomes of children aged 1 month to 18 years who have undergone this procedure at the Assiut University Heart Hospital.
To participate, children must be between 1 month and 18 years old and have had cardiac catheterization to manage congenital heart disease, which is a type of heart defect present at birth. Unfortunately, newborns younger than 1 month and adults over 16 years old cannot join the study. Participants will help researchers understand the effectiveness of this procedure in younger patients. If you are considering involvement in the trial for your child, know that it aims to improve future treatments for children with heart conditions.
