ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring whether having sexual intercourse the night after a frozen embryo transfer affects the chances of the embryo successfully implanting in the uterus. Women between the ages of 18 and 41 who are undergoing one of their first four frozen embryo transfers with good quality embryos may be eligible to participate. In the study, participants will be randomly assigned to two groups: one group will have intercourse without a condom the night after the transfer, while the other group will refrain from intercourse for 48 hours.

If you choose to participate, you can expect to be closely monitored to see how well the embryo implants and whether it leads to a successful pregnancy. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important to note that women over 42 years old, those with certain medical conditions, or those not able to have vaginal intercourse cannot take part. The goal is to gather valuable information that could help improve the outcomes of embryo transfers in the future.
