ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying three different, gentle treatment methods for managing enamel discoloration in children with a condition called Molar Incisor Hypomineralization. The goal is to see how well these methods work in improving the appearance of affected teeth and the overall quality of life for the child. The treatments being tested include resin infiltration, a special varnish made with resin and glass, and another type of varnish called light-cured giomer. Researchers will check how these treatments affect tooth sensitivity, color changes, and patient and parent satisfaction at several points over the next 18 months.
To participate in this trial, children must be between 6 and 10 years old and have at least one affected tooth that shows mild discoloration but does not have any cavities or severe damage. Children with health issues that could complicate the treatment or with teeth that have previously been injured will not be eligible. If enrolled, families can expect regular follow-ups to monitor how well the treatments are working and gather feedback on their experience. This trial aims to find the best approach for helping children with this dental condition while keeping their treatment as simple and effective as possible.
