ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a program called "patient navigation" to see if it can help more people with prostate and kidney cancer join clinical trials. The main focus is to compare two different levels of support: a "high intensity" approach, which offers more help and resources, versus a "low intensity" approach, which provides less support. The goal is to find out if the higher level of assistance makes a difference in getting patients to enroll in clinical trials at specific cancer centers.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and currently diagnosed with prostate or kidney cancer. You’ll need to be receiving treatment at either the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University or the Wellspan Health Center. If you decide to join, you’ll be randomly assigned to either the high intensity or low intensity navigation group. This means you could receive different levels of support as you work to find and access available clinical trials. Overall, this study aims to make it easier for patients to get the care they need through clinical research.
