ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to find out if a natural dietary supplement can help boost the body’s production of collagen after taking collagen protein. Collagen is an important protein that helps keep our skin, joints, and other connective tissues healthy. The researchers have created a special product that is considered safe and natural, and they want to see if it can enhance the body’s response to collagen protein when consumed. To do this, they will collect blood samples from participants before and after eating collagen protein and use these samples to test on engineered ligaments.
To participate in this study, you need to be a healthy young adult between the ages of 18 and 30. However, pregnant individuals, smokers, or those taking certain medications that could affect the study results will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to provide some blood samples and receive the dietary supplement to see how it works with collagen protein. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and all genders are welcome to apply.
