ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different treatments for a condition called plantar fasciitis, which causes pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. Researchers are comparing three approaches: one group will receive injections of collagen hydrolyzed peptides, another group will undergo a treatment called extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), and the third group will receive a combination of both treatments. The goal is to find out which method helps reduce pain and improve mobility for patients.
To participate in the trial, individuals need to be between 18 and 80 years old and have plantar fasciitis. However, those who have had foot surgery in the past or cannot safely receive ESWT will not be eligible. If you join the study, you will have the opportunity to try one of these treatments under the supervision of medical professionals. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a chance to contribute to research that may help others with similar foot pain in the future.
