ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how different forms of vitamin D can help improve vitamin D levels in people who have low levels, a condition known as hypovitaminosis D. There are three groups in the study: one group will receive a monthly dose of Calcifediol, another group will receive Cholecalciferol every 15 days, and the last group will take four drops of Calcifediol daily. After one month of treatment, the researchers will check the vitamin D levels in all participants to see which method works best.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be adults aged 65 to 74 or between 29 and 219 years old and must have low vitamin D levels (less than 20 ng/mL). However, people with osteoporosis, kidney, or liver diseases are not able to participate. If you join this study, you can expect to receive one of the three treatments and have your vitamin D levels monitored closely. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders.
