ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of meals affect how we feel after eating. Specifically, researchers want to see if a high-protein meal makes us feel different compared to a more balanced meal that has a mix of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. The study will involve healthy, non-obese adults, both men and women, aged 18 to 65. To participate, you should not have any history of weight issues, gastrointestinal problems, or certain medical conditions.
If you join the trial, you'll be asked to follow a specific eating plan before coming to the lab. You'll eat a standard dinner the night before and then a standard breakfast on the morning of the test. After a few hours, you'll try two different meals on separate days and will share your feelings about how you feel during and after eating. Researchers will also take some blood samples to check how your body reacts to the meals. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it’s a great opportunity to learn more about how food affects our experiences after eating!
