ClinConnect Summary

The clinical trial titled "The Effects of Playful Pathways" is designed to help babies aged 0 to 6 months who may be experiencing delays in their gross motor development, which is how they use their large muscles to move. The study will include an interactive 8-week program where babies and their caregivers will participate in fun activities aimed at improving movement skills. Researchers will assess the babies before the program, right after it ends, and again three months later to see how their development has progressed and to understand how parents feel about the program.

To participate, babies must be between 0 and 6 months old, whether they are developing typically or have any diagnosis. Caregivers must be at least 18 years old, able to read and speak English, and provide transportation to the study location. The trial is looking for around 12 babies and up to 30 caregivers to join this exciting program. Those who participate can expect a supportive environment focused on enhancing their baby’s movement skills while also connecting with other families.
