ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how Damask rose essential oil aromatherapy can help reduce dental anxiety and pain in children who need local anesthesia for dental procedures. The goal is to see if this pleasant-smelling oil can make visits to the dentist less stressful and painful for kids aged 7 to 12 years old.
To participate, children must be from Egypt, have no serious medical issues, and be able to understand and respond to simple questions. They also need to be cooperative during the dental procedure. If a child has any dental emergencies, special needs, or respiratory illnesses like a cold or allergies, they won’t be able to join the study. For those who do participate, they can expect to experience aromatherapy during their dental visits and help researchers learn more about how to make dental experiences better for children.
