ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how tuberculosis (TB) affects patients in the Sohag Governorate and how well different treatments work for them. Tuberculosis is a serious disease caused by a germ that primarily attacks the lungs, but it can also affect other parts of the body. People with weakened immune systems, such as those with HIV, are at higher risk for severe TB. The study aims to better understand the journey of TB patients and improve treatment outcomes.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of tuberculosis. Unfortunately, children cannot take part in this study. If you qualify, you will be involved in research that could help improve how TB is treated in the future. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know meets the criteria, it could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to important medical research.
