ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to see if a special exercise program can help improve the physical fitness and overall well-being of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The program will last for 12 weeks and aims to measure changes in walking distance, muscle strength, and endurance before and after participation. Researchers also want to find out if the program helps reduce common COPD symptoms, like feeling short of breath and tired during daily activities. Participants will fill out questionnaires to understand how their quality of life changes throughout the trial.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between 40 and 75 years old and have been diagnosed with moderate to severe COPD. They should also be stable, meaning they haven't had any severe flare-ups that required hospital care recently. It's important that potential participants are willing and able to join the exercise program. However, those with certain serious health issues or physical limitations may not qualify. This trial is not yet recruiting, so there will be more information available as it gets closer to starting.
