ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special program designed to help prevent lymphedema, which is swelling that can happen in the arm after surgery for breast cancer. The program aims to improve the drainage of lymph fluid from the arm, potentially reducing the risk of developing this condition. The trial is currently recruiting female participants aged 18 to 75 who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are scheduled to have certain types of surgery that involve removing lymph nodes.
If you join the study, you will follow the comprehensive prevention program and be monitored for any changes in your arm after surgery. It’s important to note that this study excludes males, non-English speakers, and those who have had previous surgeries related to lymphedema or certain medical conditions. By participating, you may contribute to valuable research that could help many women in the future.
