ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to improve the use of antibiotics in urgent care clinics for patients with acute respiratory infections (ARIs). Many times, doctors prescribe antibiotics even when they won't help because the infection is caused by a virus, not bacteria. The researchers want to see if giving doctors feedback about their antibiotic prescribing habits—compared to their peers—helps them make better decisions and reduces unnecessary antibiotic use.
Any clinician working in Urgent Care or QuickCare clinics within the healthcare system can participate in this study. If you are a doctor or nurse in these settings, you might be eligible to join. Throughout the trial, participants can expect to receive information about their antibiotic prescribing patterns, which may help improve care for patients. This study is currently recruiting and aims to make a positive impact on how antibiotics are used in urgent care settings.
