ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific eating pattern called time-restricted eating affects the eating behaviors, diet quality, and body composition of young women aged 20 to 29. Participants will need to limit their food and drink intake (except for water and some non-caloric drinks) to a 10-hour window each day for four weeks. Before starting this period, they will follow their usual eating habits for one week, and after the trial, they can return to their normal eating patterns for another four weeks.
To participate, women must be able to speak and read English, own a smartphone, and have a body mass index (BMI) of 20 or higher. They should typically eat over a period of 12 hours or more, with their last meal often being after 8 PM. However, people who work shifts, are pregnant or nursing, have a history of eating disorders, or have certain chronic medical conditions may not be eligible to join. This study is currently looking for participants, and it's a great opportunity for those who meet the criteria to explore the effects of a structured eating plan on their health.
