ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how a special program called "prehabilitation" can help patients who are going to have surgery for lumbar radiculopathy, which is a condition that causes leg pain due to problems in the lower back. The prehabilitation program includes exercises, education about back care, and learning about pain through videos. This will be compared to a standard approach that only provides written exercise instructions. The goal is to see if the prehabilitation program can improve recovery for patients after their surgery.

To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult aged 18 or older, diagnosed with lumbar radiculopathy, and scheduled for surgery to relieve leg pain. However, if you are currently receiving other treatments for this condition, have certain medical issues, or do not have access to the internet, you may not be able to join. If you do take part, you can expect support through exercises and educational materials aimed at preparing you for surgery and helping you recover more effectively.
