ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how positive psychology, which focuses on promoting positive emotions and well-being, can help anaesthesiologists in Hong Kong deal with stress and burnout. The researchers want to find out if using an app that offers positive psychology exercises can improve the overall happiness and resilience of these busy healthcare professionals. Participants will be randomly assigned to either a group that uses the app for four weeks or a control group that does not use the app, allowing researchers to see how effective the app is in enhancing well-being.
To take part in this study, participants must be fellows or members of The Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists. There are no specific exclusions, so if you meet this requirement, you may be eligible. Throughout the trial, participants can expect to engage with the app and share their experiences, helping researchers understand whether this approach is effective and practical for healthcare workers who often have very demanding schedules.
