ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective two treatments—orthopedic manual therapy (OMT) and dry needling (DN)—are for people suffering from low back pain. Researchers want to find out if using one treatment alone is better, or if combining both treatments leads to better results in reducing pain and disability. They will also look at how different factors, like anxiety, depression, and sleep quality, affect recovery for those receiving these treatments.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have low back pain that rates at least a 3 out of 10 on a pain scale. However, individuals with certain conditions, like serious spinal issues or those currently involved in legal cases related to their pain, will not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive either OMT, DN, or a combination of both, and your progress will be monitored to see how well these treatments help with your pain and daily activities.
