ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to study how well two different types of implants work in supporting a type of denture called a mandibular overdenture for people who have lost their teeth. The researchers will be comparing two methods: one uses ball attachments and the other uses a titanium bar that is welded inside the mouth. They want to see which method leads to less bone loss around the implants and how this affects patients' satisfaction with their oral health and quality of life.
To participate in this study, you should have good oral hygiene, be in good health, and have enough space in your mouth for the implants. However, if you smoke heavily, have certain jaw disorders, uncontrolled diabetes, or loose tissue in your mouth, you may not be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you qualify and choose to take part, you will help researchers understand which method might be better for supporting dentures while also providing feedback on your experience.
