ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different blood pressure targets during and after cesarean sections can affect the health of mothers who have preeclampsia, a condition that can occur during pregnancy. The researchers want to find out if maintaining a higher or lower blood pressure has an impact on the mother's overall blood flow and health after the surgery.
To participate in this study, women must be between 18 and 45 years old, be pregnant with one baby at least 32 weeks along, and be scheduled for a cesarean section using spinal anesthesia. However, there are some criteria that would exclude someone from participating, such as having very high blood pressure, certain weight and height limits, and specific health issues like eclampsia. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help improve care for mothers with preeclampsia by understanding how blood pressure management can make a difference after surgery.
