ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a condition called Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH), which affects the enamel of certain teeth, making them sensitive and painful. The trial aims to see if low-level laser treatment can help reduce this tooth sensitivity in children aged 6 to 10 who have at least one affected tooth. To participate, children must be healthy and report a specific level of sensitivity in their teeth.

In this study, 45 children will be divided into three groups to receive different treatments, and their tooth sensitivity will be measured before and after the treatment using a simple pain scale. The researchers will also assess how this sensitivity impacts the children's quality of life. It’s important to note that children with certain dental issues or health conditions will not be eligible to join the trial. This study is still in the planning stages and has not started recruiting participants yet.
