ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a smartwatch can help predict complications after major surgeries, like operations on the pancreas or intestines. Researchers want to understand how often patients experience complications after these surgeries and see if the smartwatch can collect useful health information before and after the surgery. Patients who join the study will wear the smartwatch during their hospital stay and will also fill out questionnaires about how they are feeling.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for certain types of major surgery under general anesthesia. The trial is open to everyone, regardless of gender. A total of 50 patients will be invited to participate. Those who agree to take part will be closely monitored with the smartwatch, and their feedback will help researchers identify any issues that may arise after surgery. This study aims to improve patient care by catching potential problems early.
