ClinConnect Summary

The clinical trial titled "Gait Assessment Via Telephone Application" is studying a new smartphone app called Gait-Analyzer, which aims to assess walking patterns. Researchers want to compare this app's effectiveness to the traditional high-tech method of computerized gait analysis, which is usually very accurate but also expensive and not easily available. By looking at how well the app measures walking parameters, the study hopes to determine if it can be a reliable alternative for assessing gait in everyday settings.

To participate in this study, individuals should be between 18 and 26 years old and have a normal body weight. However, those with certain conditions, such as leg injuries or specific foot problems, or who have had recent surgeries, won’t be eligible. Participants can expect to use the Gait-Analyzer app to record their walking patterns, helping researchers gather important information that could make gait analysis more accessible for everyone. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders.
