ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how the movement of the pupil during eye surgery affects outcomes for patients undergoing procedures for cataracts, corneal disease, and vitreous disorders. Researchers believe that tracking how the pupil behaves during surgery could help predict inflammation that might occur afterward, which could ultimately lead to better treatment decisions.
To participate in this trial, you should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have significant cataracts or other eye conditions that require surgery. You'll need to give written consent to join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to have your pupil movements monitored during your surgery, which might help doctors understand more about how to improve recovery and reduce complications after the procedure.
