ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into a condition called hypophosphatasia, which is often missed or misdiagnosed in adults. The study aims to find out how common hypophosphatasia is among adult patients who visit rheumatology clinics. Researchers want to create a way to help doctors spot this condition earlier, which could lead to better treatment options.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be over 18 years old and have a doctor who suspects they might have hypophosphatasia. They also need to have certain lab results that indicate a problem with a specific enzyme called alkaline phosphatase. If those criteria are met, participants can expect to contribute to important research that may improve the way hypophosphatasia is diagnosed and treated in the future. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders.
