ClinConnect Summary

**Summary of the Clinical Trial: Modeling Outcome in Patients With Acquired Brain Injuries**

This clinical trial is studying how to better understand and predict the recovery of patients who have suffered from severe acquired brain injuries (ABIs). These injuries can happen for various reasons, such as accidents or medical conditions, and they can significantly impact a person's ability to function. The researchers are using new statistical methods and artificial intelligence to look closely at how patients change during their rehabilitation. By doing this, they hope to identify important factors that influence recovery and provide more effective care tailored to each patient’s needs.

To participate in this study, individuals must be 18 years or older and have a severe acquired brain injury that occurred within the last three months. It’s important that participants do not have any pre-existing neurological or orthopedic conditions that could affect their recovery. Those who join the trial will undergo assessments that aim to track their progress and experiences during rehabilitation. This trial also seeks to improve a well-known scale that measures functional changes in these patients, which could help in future rehabilitation efforts. If you or a loved one is eligible and interested, this study could provide valuable insights into the journey of recovery after a brain injury.
