ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how listening to personalized music can help patients with dementia. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will use a special app called Rubato Life to listen to music for at least 30 minutes a day, while the other group will receive standard care without the music intervention. The trial will last between 6 to 12 weeks, and participants in the music group will wear smartwatches to track their heart rates during this time.
To join the study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and have a dementia diagnosis. They should also have access to a smartphone and be able to use it, either on their own or with help from a caretaker. It's important to note that those with severe hearing issues or a strong dislike of music are not eligible to participate. This trial offers a unique opportunity to explore how music can positively impact the lives of individuals living with dementia.
