ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how well two medications, trypsin and alpha chemo trypsin, can help heal infections in the jaw caused by chronic apical abscesses in the molars (the back teeth). An apical abscess is a painful infection that occurs at the tip of the tooth root, and this study aims to see if different doses of these medications can improve healing in patients with this condition.

Anyone of any age and gender with a chronic apical abscess in their mandibular molars might be eligible to participate. However, individuals with serious health issues like uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, or those who have weakened immune systems or allergies to the study medications will not be able to join. If you take part in this trial, you can expect to receive one of the treatments being studied and be monitored for how well it works in improving your condition. This trial is currently not yet recruiting participants, but it is an important step in finding better treatments for dental infections.
