ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how the management of patients who have had a cardiac arrest outside the hospital affects their short-term recovery in the emergency department (ED). The research team at National Taiwan University Hospital wants to find out if the timing and type of treatments given after resuscitation can improve survival rates and neurological outcomes for these patients. They are looking at various factors, such as the patient's age, medical history, and the care they received before arriving at the ED.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be adults over 20 who experienced a cardiac arrest before arriving at the hospital and were successfully resuscitated in the ED. Unfortunately, those with traumatic injuries or missing medical records cannot participate. The trial will involve reviewing patient data to better understand how emergency care can be improved for better outcomes. By participating, individuals contribute to important research that aims to enhance the care and recovery of future cardiac arrest patients.
