ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different treatments for type 1 diabetes (T1DM)—such as insulin pumps, multiple daily injections, and closed-loop systems—affect the mental workload for both children and adolescents with diabetes and their parents. Essentially, the study wants to understand how these treatments impact the daily stress and responsibilities that come with managing diabetes.
To participate, children must be over 8 years old and have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for at least six months. Parents or caregivers who help manage the child's diabetes are also encouraged to join, provided they have been involved for the same amount of time. Participants will complete a questionnaire to share their experiences. It's important to note that this study is not yet recruiting participants, so you would need to wait for it to start. This research aims to help improve the understanding of diabetes management and may lead to better support for families dealing with this condition.
