ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is examining a new way to access blood vessels in the wrist, called distal radial access (DRA), which may be a safer option for patients undergoing heart procedures. The study aims to find out how well this method works compared to the traditional approach and to see how often complications occur, such as blockages in the artery. Researchers want to understand the success rates of DRA and identify any factors that might make it more challenging for some patients.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a pulse in your distal radial artery, which is located in your wrist. If you have had a heart procedure using DRA, you may be eligible. However, certain conditions, like a known allergy to a specific type of contrast dye or if you are pregnant, may exclude you from participating. If you join the trial, you can expect to help researchers gather important information that could improve heart procedures for patients in the future.
