ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into the risk factors that can lead to complications after a liver transplant, particularly focusing on issues related to blood clotting and bleeding. The goal is to identify what might cause these problems so that doctors can develop better strategies to prevent them, ultimately improving the outcomes for patients receiving a liver transplant from a related donor, such as a family member.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be adults aged 18 to 70 years who have end-stage liver cirrhosis, which means their liver is severely damaged and not functioning well. People who are pregnant, have certain blood disorders, or other serious health issues that might affect their blood system are not able to join the trial. If someone qualifies and decides to participate, they can expect to contribute to valuable research that could enhance care for future liver transplant patients. This study is currently recruiting participants, and their involvement could help improve safety and effectiveness in liver transplantation.
