ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how to manage alarms in intensive care units (ICUs) to improve patient safety and reduce noise. In ICUs, patients are monitored closely, and alarms sound if their health indicators go outside normal levels. However, many of these alarms are unnecessary, creating a noisy environment that can be stressful for patients and staff. The trial aims to see if a new plan for reducing the number of alarms can help make the ICU a quieter, safer place for patients.

To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and currently admitted to the ICU at ST-ETIENNE University Hospital. You will need to provide consent to take part in the study. If you are unable to give consent due to your health condition, a family member or trusted person can help. This trial is open to all genders and is currently recruiting participants. By joining this study, you will help researchers understand how to improve care in the ICU, which could benefit many patients in the future.
