ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific type of nursing care, called narrative nursing, can help patients with chronic kidney disease who are on maintenance hemodialysis. Narrative nursing focuses on using stories and personal experiences to improve emotional well-being, boost confidence in managing their health, and enhance their overall quality of life. The research aims to see if these interventions can reduce negative feelings and help patients feel better about their treatment and life in general.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been receiving dialysis for more than three months due to end-stage renal disease (ESRD). You should be able to understand and express your own thoughts clearly and agree to take part in the study by signing a consent form. However, if you have serious other health issues or mental disorders that affect your understanding, you may not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive support through narrative nursing techniques and contribute to important research that could benefit others with similar health challenges.
