ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how men and women experience cardiac surgery differently. Researchers want to understand various factors that may affect recovery, such as body weight, medical history, and how well the heart functions during and after surgery. They will also look at how these factors relate to recovery outcomes over time, assessing both short-term and long-term results.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and have undergone cardiac surgery either from January 2016 or from the start of the study around March 2022. However, if you don’t agree to let the researchers use your medical data, you won’t be able to join. If you take part in the trial, you can expect to provide information about your health and experiences related to the surgery, which will help improve care for future patients. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to create a better recovery plan specifically designed for women after cardiac surgery.
