ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how the way physiotherapists communicate with patients affects the overall health and well-being of people suffering from chronic musculoskeletal pain, which is pain that lasts for more than three months in areas like the neck, lower back, knees, or shoulders. The researchers want to see if better communication can lead to better outcomes for these patients.
To participate in the study, you need to be between the ages of 65 and 74, speak and understand Greek, and have chronic pain in one of the specified areas, with a pain level of at least 3 out of 10 on a pain scale. Some people may not be eligible, such as those who have had surgery recently, are pregnant, or are taking certain medications that could affect their pain. If you decide to join the study, you'll engage in sessions where the physiotherapist will focus on improving communication, and you’ll be asked to answer questions about your experience. This research may help improve treatment approaches for individuals with chronic pain in the future.
