ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how our brains work when we listen and understand a second language, specifically Italian for French learners. The researchers want to learn about the different mental steps involved in understanding spoken language, especially during the learning process. They are currently looking for participants aged between 18 and 75 who are right-handed and can understand French. To join the study, you must also be signed up with French social security and agree to take part by signing a consent form.
Participants will take part in various tasks that involve listening and understanding spoken Italian, while researchers monitor brain activity using safe imaging techniques. However, some people may not be eligible to join the study, such as pregnant women or those with certain hearing, neurological, or psychiatric conditions that could affect language comprehension. This trial will help us better understand how the brain processes language, which could be beneficial for improving language learning methods in the future.
