ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how pain levels and the amount of pain medication used after a cesarean delivery (a type of surgery to deliver a baby) can be predicted based on past cesarean deliveries. The researchers want to understand if knowing a mother's previous experiences with pain and medication can help anticipate what she might need after her next surgery. This is important because managing pain effectively can improve recovery for both mothers and their babies.
To participate in this study, women must have had at least two cesarean deliveries and received specific types of anesthesia and pain management during and after their surgeries. However, women with certain conditions, such as chronic pain or those who had complications during pregnancy, will not be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but those who qualify may help improve care for future mothers by contributing to our understanding of postoperative pain management.
