ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new tool called Opt-IVF to help improve the process of in vitro fertilization (IVF) for women facing fertility issues. Specifically, it aims to see how effective this decision support tool is in guiding the dosages of hormones used during treatment, based on the size and number of ovarian follicles (the sacs that contain eggs) at certain points in the treatment cycle. The trial will involve women who are starting their second IVF cycle and will not include those who have polycystic ovarian syndrome.
If you participate in this trial, you will have a transvaginal ultrasound on the first and fifth days of your treatment cycle to check the size and number of follicles. The data collected will help the Opt-IVF tool recommend hormone dosages and when to take certain medications. It's important to know that the doctors involved in the trial will not change the recommendations made by the Opt-IVF tool for any participant. Currently, the trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon for those interested.
