Pregabalin Sensitivity Dental Tooth Whitening

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the use of a special gel containing Pregabalin to help reduce tooth sensitivity that some people experience after having their teeth whitened with a strong bleaching agent. The goal is to see if applying this gel during the whitening process can make the treatment more comfortable for patients. Even though there are many products on the market to help with tooth sensitivity, none have been proven to be completely effective, so researchers are exploring Pregabalin as a potential new option.

To participate in this trial, you should be between the ages of 18 and 75 and have at least 28 teeth in good condition. Important factors for eligibility include having good overall health and no active dental issues like cavities or gum disease. If you have had recent whitening treatments or certain dental conditions, you may not qualify. Participants will have the chance to try this new treatment and contribute to research that could help others dealing with tooth sensitivity after whitening.
