ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods for removing large polyps (growths) from the colon, called Cold Snare Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (C-EMR) and Hot Snare Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (H-EMR). The goal is to see which method is more effective at completely removing non-pedunculated polyps that are between 10 and 20 millimeters in size and to compare any side effects that might occur with each method.
To participate in the trial, you need to be an adult over 18 years old and have a polyp larger than 5-10 mm. However, certain health conditions, like inflammatory bowel disease or severe bleeding problems, may prevent you from joining. If you decide to participate, you will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups and closely monitored to see how well the procedure works and if there are any complications. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to help doctors determine the best approach for safely and effectively removing large colon polyps.
